Pupukahi i holomua. Unite to move forward.

Volunteers Play an Important Role

Volunteers are an integral component of our work. They have built over 500,000 homes around the world with Habitat for Humanity.

On Kaua`i, individual volunteers and volunteer groups have helped build over 100 affordable homes. Volunteer labor, along with donated materials and private contributions, enables Kaua`i Habitat for Humanity to keep costs low and continue building homes that are truly affordable for needy families.

A’ohe hana nui ka alu’ia.  No task is too big when done together.  ~ `Ōlelo no`eau, Hawaiian proverb

Kaua`i Habitat for Humanity welcomes volunteers in individual and group capacities.

Island visitors
Volunteer tourism at its best. Experience the beauty that Kaua`i has to offer through its people, culture, and environment while giving back to the community.

Volunteer Teams

Global Village Volunteer Program
This program offers volunteers the chance to create true “global villages” of love, community, homes, and hope.  Fundraise prior to arriving and once on-island, work alongside homeowners and the Kaua`i community.

Organized Teams
Achieve personal, corporate, or family philanthropy goals through organized team volunteer opportunities. Local and visiting groups are always welcome.
